History of the fragrance
Amouage Epic eau de parfum was created by the trio of perfumers Cécile Zarokian, Daniel Maurel, and Angeline Leporini. It was launched in 2009. It is inspired by the mystical story of the search for a centuries-lost aria, buried somewhere near the Silk Road, along which for centuries silk was transported from China and exchanged for silver frankincense from Oman. The innocent story gradually turns into a legend, just like the Epic fragrance itself.
